GRANTZ was founded by Glenn Grant better known as King Grant the Creative Director and Founder of the award-winning creative agency, Media Maven Marketing Agency. Conceived as a passion project, GRANTZ was born from Grant’s lifelong obsession with detail, legacy, and storytelling. Inspired by the enduring majesty of Ancient Rome, each bottle in the Empire Series is architecturally modeled after Roman pillars, symbolizing strength, elegance, and timeless appeal. Because if your fragrance collection doesn’t have a pillar… what’s truly holding it up? But the story didn’t begin there. Grant’s introduction to fragrance came at the tender age of six, when he received a BOD Man Body Spray 4-Piece Gift Set from his grandparents on Christmas. Though blue was his favorite color, he fell in love with the black bottle the scent that earned him the most compliments and ultimately became his first signature fragrance. It soon evolved into a cherished tradition, gifted by his grandparents during holidays and special occasions. As he grew older, the inexpensive aroma became unbearable to his mother a perfume enthusiast herself who introduced him to the prestigious fragrance house of CREED. Immersed in its refined collection, Grant began cultivating his own olfactory identity, exploring both his personal tastes and the fragrances within his father’s collection. By middle school, he was known for his unique blends. At a time when the average teenage boy gave little thought to scent, Grant understood its power. While navigating the chaos of first-period P.E. where avoiding “musty allegations” was a social necessity he often fulfilled the bare minimum requirements before retreating to the bleachers during free time, leaving behind an unforgettable impression. His father would famously describe Grant’s application method as “showering in cologne,” insisting that less was more. Yet for Grant, it wasn’t enough unless the fragrance enveloped him entirely until he discovered the Vaseline method. This revelation introduced him to the power of oil-based fragrances, which amplify projection and extend longevity by anchoring scent to the skin.

This discovery became the foundation of his philosophy.
